Jane & Pete watched my boys while I was away for 5 days on holiday. They took such good care of them and I wouldn’t hesitate to leave them here again in the future.
We've trusted Hometown with our 2 dogs multiple times now, one was for an almost 2 week stay. The dogs have come home healthy and happy every single time, and are always happy to be dropped off with Jane & Pete (they just run in and dont even care to say goodbye lol!) They've also been accommodating & patient with us for dropoff & pickup time changes which has been really appreciated :)
Our Buddy spent 10 days at Hometown Kennels And Grooming, and we couldn't be happier with the care he received while there! He is definitely a nervous dog around new people and situations, and his usual boarding facility was fully booked for the dates we requested. After looking online at a few other options in our area, we were impressed by the set-up of the kennels and secure yard at Hometown Kennels And Grooming. Jane & Pete were more than accommodating right from the beginning, giving Buddy time to roam around the fenced in yard and adjust to his new surroundings/sniff the smells etc. They reassured us he would do well, and they were right! It was nice to see some pictures of him enjoying his stay on their Facebook page while we were away. When we went to pick Buddy up last night, he was out in the yard with Jane & Pete, coming up for pets and looking completely relaxed! We will definitely be recommending Hometown Kennels And Grooming to our friends and relatives, and will certainly be booking Buddy in again! Thank you again!
I left my dog few times the man is so kind and my dog loves him, the care is okay but the grooming is not the best they left his hair shaved and badly cut was his worst time ever.
Place looks nice, but as they say looks can be deceiving! I feel SOOooo bad that my dogs had the experience Jane gave them. Their grooming was TERRIBLE. I wish I could leave pictures. Two upset dogs for about 2 days after ?
My dog Molly has always went to other groomers over the years, but once I found Hometown, her fur went 2 times as long without being groomed, no dandruff, no scratching , very professionally ran, very nice people , I will be using them always now.
